In connection with the LCC Music Department’s “We Shall Overcome” Virtual Choir project, and as part of the LCC Community-Generated Poetry Project, we’ll engage in an interactive 2-day hybrid session that will culminate in one or more poems to be included in the “We Shall Overcome” project rolling out during Spring 2021. Using raw material provided by LCC students responding to prompts related to the lyrics and ideas in “We Shall Overcome”, participants will collaborate creatively with each other to collage poems. No poetry writing experience needed…just a willingness to jump in and try this community-generated poetry thing.
