In this session, facilitators will host a discussion regarding opportunities to engage students across disciplines on contemporary issues related to justice. Encouraged by the Scholar Strike initiative (https://www.scholarstrike.com/) and LCC’s own Take A Stand! Sit In! event (https://takeastand.openlcc.net/), this session will discuss opportunities to work in collaboration with other faculty to promote justice issues by way of cross-disciplinary presentations that resonate with students. If you desire to build a platform where faculty and students can “sit in” in order to be encouraged to “take a stand,” then join us in this session.
