Learn about the integral role that LCC’s Academic Senate plays at the college. With six standing committees (open to all faculty and administrators), the senate is comprised of interdisciplinary faculty, administrators, and students. The senate is proactive and collaborative in its approach, seeking consensus whenever possible, and fosters and supports effective and transparent communication with the college community. This session will give an overview of the purpose and activities involved in the Academic Senate, as well as how the Academic Senate functions and planned future initiatives.
