In this session, facilitators will host a discussion regarding opportunities to engage students across disciplines on contemporary issues related to justice.  Encouraged by the Scholar Strike initiative and LCC’s own Take a Stand! Sit-In! event, this session will discuss the lessons learned from two semesters of events and our plans moving forward. We would love to hear from other faculty and staff about possible future sessions that promote justice issues by way of cross-disciplinary presentations that resonate with students. If you desire to build a platform where faculty and students can “sit in” in order to be encouraged to “take a stand,” then join us in this session.
