I recently spoke with a friend on the phone regarding the Covid19 crisis that has forced us into stressful teaching and learning situations. Even with the creativity and care by the staff and faculty at LCC, many of us are climbing a steep learning curve- not to mention changes in our personal and home lives. To stop me from slipping into a downward spiral of what-ifs, my friend said this to me, “You always have a choice. You can laugh or cry, and it’s a lot more fun to laugh.” I have cried once or twice during these last few weeks, and that’s okay because it helps relieve stress (more about crying), but today I’m going to laugh.
